If flavorful ethnic foods made with better-for-you/allergen-friendly ingredients is your vibe, then you’re in the right place.

The wellness community is filled with many creative food bloggers, but I rarely found anti-inflammatory alternatives to what I’m used to eating: Asian, Mexican, and Guamanian food to name a few!

After doing a short-term elimination diet and getting certified for functional nutrition, I’ve developed a skill to listen to my body and understand root causes so I don’t just cover up the symptoms.

I’ve managed to reduce my inflammation, reverse fatty liver, prediabetes, chronic hives, joint pain and many more autoimmune-related symptoms while eating my favorite meals and so can you!

I hope this reaches the right people because food freedom is a big part of a sustainable healing journey.

QUICK & EASY AIR FRYER HONEY CHIPOTLE SALMON POWER

QUICK & EASY AIR FRYER HONEY CHIPOTLE SALMON POWER BOWL

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb salmon, wild caught preferred
4 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1/2 tsp harissa @nyshuk
2 tbsp lemon
5 tsp wild honey
1/2 tsp salt
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp olive oil, optional

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In a food processor, blend together chipotle, harissa, lemon, honey, garlic, salt, and olive oil.

2. Cut salmon into bite size pieces and marinade with the blended honey chipotle sauce for at least 30 minutes.

3. Preheat airfryer at 400 °F and cook salmon for 10 minutes.

4. Serve with cauliflower rice, leafy greens, guacamole, salsa (I added golden berries to mine), and lentils for extra iron.

5. Enjoy and share!

Recipe Below: 2 cups Israeli couscous 3 cups water

Recipe Below:
2 cups Israeli couscous
3 cups water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne/sweet paprika
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp turmeric
2 tsp curry powder
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
Black pepper
1/2 cauliflower, chopped and roasted
1 cup carrot, chopped ½ medium
½ cup mayonnaise or 1 egg & 1/2 cup olive oil
Juice of ½ lemon or lime
cilantro, finely chopped

Cook Israeli cous cous in rice cooker. Roast cauliflower for 15-20min at 350F. Use immersion blender to make curry mayo or combine mayo and spices together. Mix and enjoy!

High Protein Quinoa Avocado Salad inspired by Mend

High Protein Quinoa Avocado Salad inspired by Mendocino Farms:

For the grains:
1 cup quinoa
1 cup millet
Lemon zest (limonine is good for liver detox)
4 cups chicken broth
Pinch of salt
*combine and cook in rice cooker

For the fixings:
15oz garbanzo beans
1 tsp shwarma
1/2 tsp black pepper
15 oz. Black lentils
1 tsp citrusy garlic from @traderjoes
1 tsp cumin
15oz. Sweet corn
Algae oil for crispier texture @algaecookingclub
Salt to taste
*Toss in seasoning and bake at 425F for 15-20min until desired crisp and roast.

For the chipotle sauce:
3 garlic cloves
7oz chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tbsp coconut aminos
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 lemon
3 tbsp coconut sugar
Pinch of salt

More fixings:
Sliced avocado
1/4 thinly slice red onions
Cilantro
Kale, chopped and massaged in salt
Rotisserie Chicken of choice
*in a bowl, combine everything or refrigerate ingredients for meal prep!

2. High Protein Quinoa & Avocado Salad with Chicken - filled with superfood!

3. Asian Fusion Chicken Salad - made with umami flavors: Miso, Tahini, and Gochujang!

4. Harissa Salmon Warm Bowl - higher protein and fiber content with lentils. It’s satiating which keeps you well-balanced throughout the day.
